In a joint and coordinated operation in the department of Norte de Santander, between the Colombian Air Force, the Colombia Army and the Colombian Police, two laboratories for the processing of cocaine hydrochloride belonging to the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Structure 33, were located and destroyed.
This operation took place in La Primavera, municipality of Tibú, Norte de Santander, directly affecting these organized armed groups that threaten the natural resources of Colombians.
As a result of this operation, 433 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and 452 kilograms of coca base paste were seized, as well as abundant chemical inputs and elements that were used for the elaboration and production of narcotics.
The development of this operation resulted in an economic impact of $4,553,494,250 million pesos, reducing these Organized Armed Groups, the capture of illicit economies.
The Armed Forces will continue working hard to reduce drug trafficking structures, always guaranteeing the security of Colombians and the environment.
